Information you give us

• Chat assistant. If you chat with Angela, our AI assistant, we collect what you share, such as your name, email or phone number, ZIP code, purchase timeline, and the vehicle you’re looking for, along with the conversation itself.
• Booking a call. When you book through our calendar, you provide your name, email, phone number, and any answers you give on the booking form.
• Contacting us directly. If you email or call, we receive the information you choose to share.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics to understand how people use the site, such as pages visited, how you arrived, device and browser type, and approximate location (city or region level). Google Analytics uses cookies; Vercel Web Analytics does not.
• Campaign tags. If you arrive from a link that contains tracking tags (for example, from an ad or social post), we record the tag so we know which campaigns are working.
• Advertising. We may use advertising tools from partners such as Google, including remarketing, to show our ads to people who have visited our site. These partners may use cookies to recognize your browser across websites.

How we use your information

• To respond to you, schedule calls, and provide our car buying services
• To follow up on conversations you start with us
• To understand and improve our website and marketing
• To keep our site secure and meet legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may allow advertising partners such as Google to collect information about your visit through cookies so we can show you our ads on other websites. Under some state laws, including California’s, this may be considered “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out at any time; see Your privacy choices below.

Our chat assistant

Angela is an AI assistant, not a person. Conversations are processed by our AI provider to generate replies, saved to our secure database, and may be emailed to us so we can follow up. Please don’t share sensitive information like Social Security numbers or financial account details in the chat.

Service providers we use

We share information only with companies that help us run the site and our business, and only as needed for that work:

• Vercel (website hosting and analytics)
• Supabase (secure database)
• Resend (email delivery)
• Calendly (call scheduling)
• Anthropic (powers our AI chat assistant)
• Google (analytics and advertising)

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

Cookies

Google Analytics and our advertising partners may set cookies to measure site visits and show relevant ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally without them.

How long we keep information

We keep your information as long as needed to respond to you, provide our services, and meet legal and business record-keeping needs. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including California, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have about you and how we use it
• Ask us to correct or delete it
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, including for targeted advertising
• Not be treated differently for using these rights

Your privacy choices

You can opt out of targeted advertising and the sharing of your personal information in any of these ways:

• Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we automatically treat it as a request to opt out, and ad personalization is turned off for your visit.
• Google ad settings. Turn off personalized ads from Google at adssettings.google.com.
• Google Analytics opt-out. Install Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Email us. Send an opt-out request to jhoda@curatedwhips.com.

Children

Our services are for adults buying or selling vehicles. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
